Bitcoin Conference 2024 took to social media to announce Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump as a speaker at the event.
It is the largest Bitcoin-centric conference globally and will be taking place in Nashville, Tennessee from 25-27 July 2024. The conference website has Trump listed as a speaker for its 2024 event.

The Bitcoin Conference is known for making headlines every year.
Held in Miami, Bitcoin 2021 went viral after El Salvador President Nayib Bukele declared Bitcoin legal tender. Bitcoin 2023, also held in Miami, witnessed the infamous speech by Robert F Kennedy Jr in support of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin 2024 will not only see the conference relocate from Miami to Nashville, but also two US Presidential candidates on the bill. Both Kennedy Jr and Trump are both officially announced to speak at the conference in what could be a historic few days for the future of Bitcoin and wider cryptocurrency policy in the US.
“Trump announced his support for the American Bitcoin industry in May 2024, advocating for financial freedom and the growth of the US Bitcoin industry on the global stage,” organizers said on the conference website, describing Trump as the event’s main headliner.

Trump’s Vocal Support For US Bitcoin Miners
Trump’s appearance at the conference comes after he recently met with major US Bitcoin miners.
He held meetings with representatives from the biggest Bitcoin miners across the US including CleanSpark & Riot Platforms to name a few. During the talks, Trump announced his support for Bitcoin mining in the US and also on a global scale.

Back in May 2024, Trump called on America’s crypto investors and said if elected President, he would guarantee that the US will be a crypto-friendly nation going forward. During this address, he also spoke on the hot topic of self-custody. Trump promised to protect the right to self-custody for the reported 50 million crypto holders across the nation.
